Who is Team Starfish?

Hi  there.  My name is Emily Trepanier.  Originally from Ontario, Canada, I am living in BC Canada.  I am a blind snowboarder working towards competing at the Winter Paralympics as one of the first.  I’ve been snowboarding for 11 years and racing for 7 years. 

 Darling, who is my seeing eye guide dog comes along on my adventures whererever i go.  She is my second guide dog and we have been a  team for 3 years.  My first guide dog Olivia worked for 9 years and is happily retired and living with my mom, step dad, their dog and cat. 

When not training, I am a full time Educational Assistant at an elementary school here in BC.  I also love hanging out with my family and friends and exploring and going on different adventures.
